
IceRays Announce Roster Moves

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS - The Corpus Christi IceRays have parted ways with forwards Ross Bartlett and Nick Novin and defenseman Jonathan Hansson, the team announced Tuesday morning. The IceRays have trimmed their roster down to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) maximum 23 players ahead of the October 1 deadline.
Bartlett, 17, has been traded to the Atlanta Capitals of the North American 3 Hockey League (NA3HL). The Fort Myers, Fla., native played in one game with the IceRays this season after making the team out of main camp. Bartlett was drafted 93rd overall (3rd Round) by the Atlanta Capitals in the 2015 NA3HL Draft.
Novin, 19, was released by the team following their return from the NAHL Showcase. He also appeared in one game with the IceRays this season after making the roster during main camp, recording two penalty minutes.
Hansson, 19, opted to return to Sweden to continue the length of his junior career. The Gothenberg native appeared in five games with the IceRays this season.
