Two Colts selected to play Canada/Russia Challenge series

Barrie, ON- The Ontario Hockey League today announced the roster for Team OHL that will compete against a team of Russian All-Stars in the Canada/Russia Re/Max Challenge to be held November 25th in Barrie and November 29th in Mississauga.

Bryan Little and B.J. Crombeen have been selected to play for Team OHL. Little, 16, will make his first appearance in this series, and Crombeen, 19, played last season when the games were hosted in London and Sarnia.

"This is a testament to Bryan and B.J.'s hard work as hockey players and the organization is very proud of the fact that two Colts will be represented in the games," stated Team President Mark Stubbs. "It will also be a nice treat for the fans in Barrie to watch them represent their league here at the Molson Centre."

A four year OHL veteran, Crombeen has 6 goals in 10 games so far this season. Along with being named to Team OHL last season, his previous international experience includes a spot on Team Ontario's Under-17 Team that appeared in the 2002 World Hockey Challenge in Selkirk, MB. He also played for Team Canada's Under-18 Team that captured a gold medal at the

2003 World Under-18 Championships in Yaroslavl, RS. Crombeen was a second round pick (54th overall) of the Dallas Stars in the 2003 Entry Draft, and this past summer earned a selection to the Canadian National Junior Team's Development Camp in Calgary, AB.

The 2003-04 OHL Rookie of the Bryan Little has (4-4-8) totals in 10 games so far this season. His previous international experience includes a gold medal last season as a member of Team Ontario's under-17 Team that competed in the 2004 World Hockey Challenge. He also won a gold medal this past summer as a member of Canada's Under-18 Team at the World Junior Cup in Breclav, CZ. Barrie's third round pick (50th overall) in the 2003 Priority Selection, Little is eligible for the NHL Entry Draft in 2006.
