Twilight's Kellan Lutz to Visit Peoria on October 24

PEORIA, Ill. (September 8, 2009) - Kellan Lutz, who stars as Emmett Cullen in the upcoming release of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, will be make an appearance at the Peoria Rivermen game on Saturday, October 24. He will sign autographs and meet with fans, before and during the Rivermen game against the Rockford IceHogs.

His appearance is presented by CEFCU in association with Comcast, 97.3 RiverCountry, and the Peoria Journal Star E-Z Pay program. Autographs will be free of charge and pictures of Lutz will be on sale for $5. Fans are encouraged to arrive early and he will be available beginning at 6:15 p.m.

The 24-year-old Lutz began his role as Emmett in the original Twilight in 2008 and has already filmed the third installment The Twilight Saga: Eclipse which is scheduled to be released on June 30, 2010. He has roles in the upcoming films Warrior, Meskada and a new adaptation of A Nightmare on Elm Street. Lutz plays George Evans in the CW's "90210."

As a teenager he was a model for Abercrombie and Fitch before making his acting debut on "The Bold and the Beautiful" in 2004.

Group tickets, as well as season tickets and partial ticket plans that include a ticket to the Oct. 24 game, are currently available by calling 309-676-1040. Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Sept. 14 at 10 a.m.
