Tvrdon Recalled to Grand Rapids

(Toledo, OH) - Forward Marek Tvrdon (TA-ver-den) has been reassigned by the NHL's Detroit Red Wings to the AHL's Grand Rapids Griffins.

The first year professional from Nitra, Slovakia, has nine goals and four assists in 22 games this year with the Walleye. Tvrdon has also appeared in one game this year with the Griffins. Grand Rapids hosts Iowa on Friday and Saturday night this weekend.
