
Turple shuts down the 'Hounds

Kitchener, ON: Dan Turple earned his league leading 6th shutout of the season backstopping the Rangers to a
4-0 win over the visiting Sault Ste Marie Greyhounds tonight.
Justin Azevedo scored a power play goal in the first period to get the scoring started at 16:44.
In the second period Matt Auffrey scored a shorthanded goal, his 22nd of the season to put the Rangers up 2-0 at 6:34. Myles Applebaum added his 5th goal at 14:55 to give the Rangers a 3-0 lead after forty minutes.
In the final period Auffrey scored his second of the game and 23rd of the year at 12:50.
Dan Turple turned aside all 25 shots he faced to pick up his 39th win of the season.
The Rangers next home game is Sunday, March 12th against the Guelph Storm. Game time is 6:00 p.m.
