Summerside Storm News Release

(Summerside PE) A win seemed in sight tonight as the Summerside Storm kept the fight up against London Lightning in front of 3007 fans.

The Storm kept the number one team running for the lead for three quarters, but a few sloppy turnovers at a prime time in the forth, and a total of 20 overall, cost them the game.

Mike Williams led the game in scoring and rebounds, with 23 points and 11 boards. Eric Gilchrese was close behind with 21 points. Eddie Smith was the big contributor for London with a huge 40 points.

The Storm play next tomorrow night in Saint John, 7pm, catch the action live at www.stormbasketball.ca. The next home game is February 16th, when the Storm take on Moncton.

The Storm are suggesting to the Premier to change the name of Islander to Storm Day, to help out, drop by The Storm Centre at Credit Union Place to sign our list.
