Storm Loan Space to Royal Bank Cup Organizing Committee

Summerside Storm News Release


The City of Summerside is pleased to announce that the Summerside Storm have graciously offered to temporally loan their Summerside Storm Centre space in the lobby of Credit Union Place to the 2013 Royal Bank Cup Organizing Committee.

"This is a shining example of two great Summerside sports organizations, the Summerside Storm and the 2013 Royal Bank Organizing Committee supporting each other and working cooperatively to share and make full use of the City of Summerside`s Credit Union Place for the betterment of all our community. " said Mayor Basil Stewart.

The Summerside Storm Centre is in the process of being temporarily converted into The Royal Bank Cup Fan Zone which will house event information and merchandise as well as City of Summerside visitor information during the national championship which runs from May 11 to 19, 2013.

Duncan Shaw, owner of the Summerside Storm commented "the STORM is pleased to be able to support this great event and we wish the committee and Caps great success. I look forward to attending and cheering the Caps to their second National Championship"
