Week In Review: The well-rested Oilers took advantage of a light schedule last week and picked up two precious points on Saturday night with a 3-1 victory over the Wichita Thunder at the BOK Center. Wearing special pink jerseys for their sixth annual Pink In The Rink Night presented by TD Williamson, the Oilers got goals from Adam Pleskach, Ryan Menei, and Blair Macaulay while Shane Madolora turned in a 28-save performance. Tulsa improved to 5-2-1 against Wichita this season and maintained its narrow lead on the Thunder for the eighth and final CHL playoff spot. After the game, the Oilers jersey auction raised more than $16,000 for Turn Tulsa Pink, a non-profit organization which provides support to cancer charities across northeast Oklahoma.

Holding On: With 20 games remaining in the regular season, the Oilers are in eighth place in the CHL standings, one point up on ninth place Wichita. The Oilers and Thunder will meet six times in the next six weeks. Tulsa sits just two points behind Arizona and will face the Sundogs in four consecutive games starting this Friday night at the BOK Center. The Oilers, one game below .500 (21-22-3), need just one more victory to match their win total from last season.

Rush Preview: The Oilers visit Rapid City this week for a pair of contests on Tuesday and Wednesday against the Rush. In the only previous meeting between the two clubs on January 7, the Oilers earned a 3-0 win at the Rushmore Plaza Civic Center. Shane Madolora made 38 saves for his second shutout of the season while Drew Fisher, Todd Robinson, and Michel Beausoleil each posted two points in the victory. The Oilers are on a two-game win streak and the Rush has dropped five of its last six contests.

Menei's Milestone: Oilers winger Ryan Menei recorded his 400th career point on Saturday night against Wichita with an assist on Adam Pleskach's first period goal. Menei followed up his assist with a power play goal and has 401 points (152 goals, 249 assists) in 416 professional games. A seventh-year pro out of Winnipeg, Menei is averaging nearly a point per game this season (30 points in 31 games) and ranks fifth on the team in total points.

Pleskach Rolling: Tulsa forward Adam Pleskach is riding a four-game goal streak and is tied with Quad City forward Matt Duffy for the longest current goal streak in the CHL. Pleskach, who leads all CHL rookies with 27 goals this season, has found the net five times in the last four games.

Dialed In on "D": After giving up an average of four goals per game during their recent six-game winless streak, the Oilers have surrendered only two goals in the last two games. The Oilers have blanked their opponents in six of the last eight periods and have not allowed an opposition power play goal in three straight games.

Terrific Tandem: Over the last three games, Tulsa goalies Brad Fogal and Shane Madolora have combined to save 100 of the 104 shots against. Fogal posted back-to-back 36-save performances and Madolora made the most of his last outing with 28 stops against the Thunder last Saturday.

Road Woes: Tulsa has lost eight of its last nine road games and has been outscored 32-17 in that span. The Oilers, 8-12-2 away from home this season, have not won more than nine road games in a season since the 2010-11 campaign.

Oil Drops: Todd Robinson, Tulsa's leading scorer (61 points), has missed the last four games with a lower body injury...Adam Pleskach leads all CHL rookies in power play goals (7) and shots (154)...Craig Cescon and Eric Tallent are tied for fifth among all CHL defensemen with +16 ratings...Shane Madolora continues to lead the league in minutes (2,094) and is with Missouri goalie Shane Owen for the league lead in saves (969).
