
Tulsa Brings in Star Running Back

Tulsa, Okla. - Tulsa Oilers Football, a proud member of the IFL and powered by Community Care, made a move at the running back position, bringing in Northern Arizona's top running back from last season, Jarrod Ware Jr.
Ware Jr., rushed for 388 yards on 82 attempts last season for the Wranglers, recording eight rushing scores and adding six receiving touchdowns while picking up 394 yards through the air on 46 catches.
The Bradley, IL native posted 64 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns in the Western Conference Championship Game last season, while also contributing one receiving score on 29 receiving yards via three catches in a 68-46 loss to the Bay Area Panthers who went on to win the IFL Championship Game.
The Oilers RB played his college football at University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he earned an honorable mention on the All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference squad. In his career, the 5'10, 190 lbs. offensive piece racked up 1770 rushing yards, 13 rushing touchdowns, and averaged 5.2 yards per carry, while adding 42 receptions, for 482 yards and one receiving touchdown.
Tulsa will hit the road to face the Sioux Falls Storm on April 14 at 3:05 pm. CT at Denny Sanford PREMIER Center.
