FRISCO, TX - The Fighters head into Week 4 after a long bye week and a huge home win against the Duke City Gladiators. The Fighters look to continue there win streak as they take on Quad City Steamwheelers at home.
The Fighters are led by head coach Andre Coles who looks to make a championship run in his first season as a head coach.
PAST MEETUPS - FIGHTERS V STEAMWHEELERS
This will be the fifth time the Fighters and Steamwheelers face off with the last meet-up ending in a Fighters win [57-29]. The Steamwheelers come off a tough loss at home against the Green Bay Blizzard [24-32].
PLAYERS TO WATCH
A player to watch this week and most weeks is Indoor Footballs Most Valuable Player TJ Edwards. Edwards comes off a another huge game on the ground and the air, rushing for 51 yards and passing for 57 yard with 5 total touchdowns. He looks to continue production this week against a tough defensive match-up.
Another player to watch this week is Charles Williams. Williams had a productive last week recording 5 total tackles and a huge sack on third down to turn the ball over on a long defensive drive. Look for Williams to continue to produce as the Steamwheelers offense is ranked 14th in the league for scoring.
Lastly, another player to watch is Running Back, Martez Carter. Carter played a huge role in our offensive last year rushing for 491 yards with 7 touchdowns in just 8 games. His explosive and quick run style will be on display in this tough defensive match up.
