
Tulsa 66ers Sign Delroy James

TULSA, Okla., Jan. 26, 2012 - The Tulsa 66ers, proud affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, announced today they have signed forward Delroy James via the D-League's available player pool. The 66ers also announced they have waived forward Nkem Ojougboh due to injury.
James most recently played in Israel for team Bnei Eshet Tours Hasharon where he averaged 16.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.6 steals in 10 games.
The forward played collegiately for the University of Rhode Island from 2007-2011. As a senior, he averaged 17.5 points, 7.9 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.6 steals in 34 games. He was named to the NABC Division-I All-District 4 second team after both his junior and senior seasons.
James will be in uniform Friday night wearing jersey No. 21 when the 66ers host the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at 7 p.m. CT inside the Tulsa Convention Center.
