
Cleveland Cavaliers Assign Harangody to NBA D-League Affiliate Canton Charge

NEW YORK, Jan. 26, 2012 ? The Cleveland Cavaliers today assigned forward Luke Harangody to the Canton Charge, the Cavaliers? NBA D-League affiliate. The assignment marks the 29th time an NBA player has been assigned to his NBA D-League affiliate during the 2011-12 season and is the first of Harangody's career.
Originally selected by the Boston Celtics in the second round (52nd overall) of the 2010 NBA Draft, Harangody (6-7, 245, Notre Dame) was traded to Cleveland in February 2011. This season he has appeared in five games for the Cavaliers, averaging 2.6 points and 1.2 rebounds in 7.6 minutes. In 54 career NBA games with Boston and Cleveland, Harangody is averaging 3.8 points and 2.8 rebounds 7.6 minutes.
