Pensacola, Fla. Hey fans! Dont forget that tomorrow, Tuesday, August 23 is the kick-off celebration for Ice Pilots/Baptist Health Care pink hat fundraiser.
The celebration is from 5-6:30 PM at Carrabbas Italian Grill which is located at 311 North 9th Avenue. This event will start the season long project to help raise proceeds for the Baptist Health Care Foundations breast cancer fund, which provides mammograms and other services to indigent women who otherwise could not afford treatment.
The pink hats which include the Pensacola Ice Pilots name, Baptist Health Care and a pink ribbon, are $20 and will be available for purchase at the celebration. They are also available through the Baptist Health Care Foundations pink hat hotline 850-469-7418, online at www.ebaptisthealthcare.org/onlinegiftshop and in the gift shops located at Baptist Hospital.
The hats will also be available for purchase during select Ice Pilot games during the season.
The Ice Pilots will host Pink Hat Night at the Saturday, October 29 home game against the Florida Everblades. Come join Baptist Health Care and Ice Pilot staff members and help us raise proceeds for a great cause and turn Pensacola Pink!
