Tucson Sidewinders News Release
Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Sidewinders, current owners of a 38-32 record, return home on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 to host the Northern Division Edmonton Trappers (Montreal Expos) and Salt Lake Stingers (Anaheim Angels). The Trappers will visit Tucson for the last time, as the team will be moved to Round Rock, TX following the 2004 season. The Sidewinders are currently 3-4 on their road trip to Edmonton and Salt Lake. The home stand is highlighted by back-to-back giveaways of Diamondback Hats on Saturday, June 26th, and Diamondback Posters on Sunday, June 27th. Other highlights of the home stand include two Toro's Tuesday's, the always popular Thirsty Thursday, and a fun Fiesta Friday on June 25th. Tucson's next home stand will kick of in patriotic style with the 4th of July Star Spangled Spectacular, in which fans can watch Tucson's only 3-D fireworks after the game. Thursday, June 24, 7:00 p.m. vs. Edmonton (Gates Open 6:00 p.m.) THIRSTY THURSDAYS! - It's a Tucson tradition. Enjoy One-dollar beer, soft drinks and lemonade for two hours after the first pitch!

Saturday, June 26, 7:00 p.m. vs. Salt Lake (Gates Open 6:00 p.m.) DIAMONDBACK HAT GIVEAWAY! - The first 2,000 fans with a paid admission get an Arizona Diamondback hat with the popular snake logo scripted in the famous "D" fashion, courtesy of Red Wing Shoes.
Sunday, June 27, 6:00 p.m. vs. Salt Lake (Gates Open 5:00 p.m.) $1 HOT DOGS/DIAMONDBACK POSTER GIVEAWAY! - $1 hot dogs, courtesy of Hebrew National. The first 2,000 fans with a paid admission will receive a poster featuring Arizona Diamondback players, courtesy of the Arizona Republic.
