The Montreal Expos today optioned pitcher Jeremy Fikac to AAA-Edmonton. Vice President and General Manager Omar Minaya made the announcement.
In his two stints with the Expos this season, Fikac made 19 appearances out of the bullpen, posting a 1-2 record with a 5.40 ERA in 25 innings.
The 28-year-old right-hander started the season with the Expos and was optioned to Edmonton on April 25. He returned to the club on May 4.
