
Tryouts For D.C. United's Girls Youth Teams Set For This Weekend

CHANTILLY, VA (March 5, 2003) - After twice being delayed because of the continued snow and ice in the Washington area, tryouts for the D.C. United girls youth teams will finally go ahead this weekend, March 8-9.
The tryouts will be held at the old D.C. United training facility in Herndon, Virginia. Please wear turf shoes or flats. Directions are as follows:
-- Dulles Toll Rd. West
-- Route 28 South
-- Second left onto McLearen Rd.
-- First Left onto Tower View.
-- Second left onto Redskins Dr.
-- Fields are on the right.
The tryout schedule is as follows:
Saturday, March 8, 2003
U13 Girls 8-10 a.m.
U15 Girls 10:30 a.m. -12:30 p.m.
Sunday, March 9, 2003
U14 Girls 9-11 a.m.
U16 Girls 11:30 a.m. -1:30 p.m.
U17 Girls 2-4 p.m.
A second round of tryouts for the girls will be announced at a later date, along with a tryout schedule for the boys U-13 to U-18 youth teams.
