Pensacola Blue Wahoos News Release
Blue Wahoos catcher, Chadwick Tromp, is headed to AAA Louisville. He's the second Wahoos catcher in a week to get the promotion.
Tromp hit .247 in 25 games as the Blue Wahoos regular backstop. He added 10 RBI.
To fill the void, Cassidy Brown has been transferred to Pensacola from Hi-A Daytona. Brown caught seven games for the Tortugas and hit .136. The Ohio native was a 12th round pick of the Reds in 2016 out of Loyola Marymount. While in college, he was a semifinalist for the 2016 Greg Olson Breakout Player of the Year.
