Triunfel Placed on DL; Haveman Reinstated from DL

JACKSON, TENN. (September 5, 2010) - The Seattle Mariners announced the following roster moves that affects the West Tenn Diamond Jaxx roster. The moves are made prior to today's 2:05 game against the Chattanooga Lookouts.

SUMMARY:

. SS Carlos Triunfel placed on the 7-Day DL

. OF Brandon Haveman reinstated from the 7-Day DL

Haveman (24), was placed on the 7-Day DL on August 17th with lower back pain. Haveman has been reinstated from the disabled list today after missing 15 games. Brandon was hitting .296 with 1 HR and 22 RBI's this season. Haveman was the 29th round pick by the Mariners in the 2009 draft out of Purdue University.

Triunfel (20), left last night's game in the seventh inning with a sprained right finger. Triunfel is hitting .257 with 7 HR and 42 RBI's this season. The mid-season Southern League All-Star is the #6 rated prospect in the Mariners organization according to Baseball America.
