PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. - Charlotte Stone Crabs infielder Tristan Gray has been named the Florida State League Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday.
Gray delivered a career performance in Dunedin on Sunday, swatting a pair of three-run home runs in consecutive at bats. He finished the game with a career-high seven RBIs, notching his first multi-home run game as a professional.
For the week, the Rice product went 8-for-27 (.296 AVG) with a double, three home runs and 11 RBIs in seven games.
