
Triggs Called up to Kane County

RHP Andrew Triggs became the fifth Chukar this season to be called up to Kane County (A) Monday, joining pitchers Bryan Brickhouse and Kyle Smith, shortstop Jack Lopez and outfielder Julio Aparicio.
Triggs had appeared in two games out of the bullpen for the Chukars this year, compiling a 2.45 ERA, three strikeouts and one walk over 3.2 total innings pitched.
Drafted in the 19th round of the 2012 Draft out of USC, Triggs last pitched on June 23rd, going 2.2 innings and allowing two runs, one earned, on three hits. The right-hander also struck out three and walked one.
Without Triggs, the rest of the Chukars start a three-game series against the Ogden Raptors tonight at Lindquist Field. First pitch is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
