INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Indians completed their first four-game series sweep since 2014 with a 2-1 win over Charlotte on Sunday at Victory Field.

In their most recent four-game sweep, the Tribe defeated Rochester on the road for four straight days from Aug. 22-25, 2014, to clinch the division that year.

Charlotte (45-58) scored the game's first run in the fifth after Danny Muno doubled on a ball that initially appeared to be headed foul on its way down the third base line.

Indianapolis (53-50) took the lead in the sixth. Josh Bell walked ahead of a base hit to right by Jason Rogers that was misplayed, allowing Bell to score. Rogers then came across on a base hit by Max Moroff.

Wilfredo Boscan (6-7) departed in the seventh inning after making his deepest start since going seven full frames on April 19. Sunday's game saw him go 6.1 innings, allowing two hits, four walks, and striking out two. He was charged with one earned run.

Matt Lollis (1-1) was charged with the loss while Dovydas Neverauskas earned his fourth save of the year for Indy.

The team will enjoy a day off on Monday before Tuesday's trip to Gwinnett. This story was not subject to the approval of the National Association of Professional Baseball Leagues or its clubs.
