
Tri-City Reassigns Humphries

KENNEWICK, WA - Tri-City Americans General Manager Bob Tory announced today that 16-year-old defenseman Spencer Humphries has been reassigned to the Vancouver Canadiens AAA Midgets of the British Columbia Major Midget League.
The 6'2, 194-pound defenseman from Delta, British Columbia appeared in two games for Tri-City this season. While on the ice, he was a plus-one but recorded no points. Last season, Humphries appeared in 40 games for the Vancouver Canadians AAA Midget team, recording 3 goals, 6 points and 18 penalty minutes. The Canadians finished second in the BCMML standings, holding a 28-8-4 record, but lost in the League semi-finals to the Okanagan Rockets.
This weekend, the Americans wrap-up their longest road trip of the season as they visit the Brandon Wheat Kings on Friday, October 10 and the Regina Pats on Saturday, October 11. The Americans' next home game is next Friday, October 17 when the Seattle Thunderbirds visit the Toyota Center.
