BOISE, Idaho - Mark Tracy and Dustin Garneau each had three hits and three RBI, as the Tri-City Dust Devils knocked off the Boise Hawks, 13-3, before 3,601 fans at Memorial Stadium.
The Dust Devils scored five times with two out in the first inning, as Leonardo Reyes lined an RBI single, a run scored on an Alvaro Ramirez error, Garneau lined a two-run double, and Tracy singled in a run.
Tri-City would add five more in the fourth, with Tracy capping the inning with a two-run double. Gomez would tack on a two-run homer in the seventh, with Jared Simon hitting a solo shot in the eighth.
Starter Joshua Mueller retired the first 12 men of the night and allowed just three hits to pick up his first win.
The Hawks got on the board in the fifth on an Elliot Soto RBI single, then added two more in the seventh.
Boise heads out on the road to complete the first half of the Northwest League season, opening a three-game series at Yakima tomorrow night.
