
Trevor Harris Named CFL Player of the Month

(Edmonton) - Eskimos quarterback Trevor Harris is a CFL Player of the Month for his performance in August.
Harris led the Eskimos offence with eight total touchdowns en route to 2-2 record in the month. In August, Harris threw for 1,550 yards and six touchdowns on 116-163 pass attempts and ran in another two touchdowns on 17 carries.
This season, Harris has completed 286-401 passes (71.3%) for 3,481 yards and 14 touchdowns, while also rushing 44 times for 121 yards and six touchdowns. He currently leads the CFL in completions and yards thrown and total touchdowns (20).
This is Harris's second Player of the Month award (June) in addition to his Player of the Week awards in Weeks 1 and 10.
CFL Players of the Month are chosen by a panel of judges who independently send their selections to the CFL head office. The panel includes former players Matt Dunigan and Duane Forde of TSN and Pierre Vercheval of RDS.
