MANCHESTER, NH - The Trenton Thunder capped off a series-win over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats with a win in Game 2 of Thursday's doubleheader, 2-1.

Trailing 1-0 in the fifth inning, the Thunder used a leadoff walk by Carmen Angelini to get the rally started. The next batter was Taylor Dugas who hit an RBI triple up the right-centerfield gap to score Angelini from first base to tie the game.

With Dugas at first base and no outs, Dan Fiorito singled him home for Trenton's first lead of the game, and they would not look back down the stretch.

Starting pitcher Jeremy Bleich (3-2) got the win for Trenton by allowing one run in 6.0 innings on just two hits and one walk. He retired the final 11 batters he faced and needed just 77 pitches to get through his outing. In the seventh inning, the Thunder turned the ball over to Branden Pinder for his third save of the season.

Trenton dropped Game 1 of the double-header to the Fisher Cats, 4-3.

Trenton returns home for a three-game series against the Richmond Flying Squirrels starting Friday night at ARM & HAMMER Park. First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. with the Trenton Thunder pre-game show beginning at 6:50 p.m. on 91.3 FM WTSR or online at www.trentonthunder.com.
