
Trax will help open Wal-Mart Supercenter Wednesday

[Macon, Ga.]âThe Macon Trax will help open the new Wal-Mart Supercenter on Zebulon road in Macon. Wednesday, Mar. 17 is the grand opening of the new Wal-Mart Supercenter in North Macon.
Trax players and staff will be on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with all the Wal-Mart customers. Stop by the new Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 5955 Zebulon Road, across from the AmStar 16 Theaters.
Trax players will be on hand from 4-7 pm. After work drive up to the new store and take a look at the newest store in town along with the hottest team in the WHA2.
"It is always fun to get in the community and say hello to our fans." said Community Relations Director Renee Bilbrey, "There has been a lot of buzz about the new store opening and we are glad to be invited to be a part of it."
The Trax are currently the hottest team in the WHA2. Macon has won a season high six games in a row and currently owns the final playoff spot in the WHA2.
The Trax next home game is this Thursday, Mar. 18 against the Orlando Seals. It is "Guns âN' Hoses" "Law Night" and "Thirsty Thursday." All fans can have drinks for a great two-for-one special. Also, any firefighters, police officers and law professional will receive $3 off their ticket price. As a special treat the Trax will have a Fire versus Police Tug of War contest at the intermission.
The 2004-05 season ticket plans are now on sale. Act now to get the early bird specials. Any current season ticket holder and new season ticket holders can take advantage of great specials if they buy their tickets now. For further ticket information call the Trax office at 478-742-4TIX.
