Macon Trax News Release
Macon Trax defenseman Stephane Desjardins has a tough job on Wednesday February 19th.
The affable Desjardins will be donating his time and his lips to a cause aimed at raising money for the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
Desjardins will be at the Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio at the Colonial Mall of Macon from 3 p.m. to 4:30 accepting donations and kisses in the most kissable lips contest. For the past week, customers have been voting for the Trax player with the "most kissable" lips by placing their vote on the Trax team poster on display at the Merle Norman Studio. Desjardins' appearance is a continuation of that contest.
The Trax resume their schedule this Friday playing the Winston-Salem Parrots in Savannah, Georgia. On Saturday the Trax travel to Knoxville to take on the Ice Bears. Those games can be heard on the internet at www.macontrax.com or www.IRN.FM starting at 7:30 p.m. Eastern time.
The Trax will resume their hour long Hockey Happy Hour at Locos Deli & Pub on Monday February 24th at 6 p.m. Season tickets for 2003-04 are now on sale. Fans who purchase their tickets by March 1st, receive a 20 percent discount on their ticket order. For more information on the Trax, contact the Trax office at (478) 743-6010.
