Macon Trax News Release

[Macon, Ga.]—The Macon Trax have partnered up with Clear Channel Communication to form an exciting new partnership for both organizations. All Trax games during the 2004-05 season will be broadcast on 1670AM WMWR.

In addition to the entire Trax schedule, Chuggin' With The Trax, a weekly show, will be broadcast on "Middle Georgia's new place to talk." Clear Channel will also run promotions on their various stations in the market to help promote Macon Trax Hockey.

"1670 WMWR looks forward to building a strong relationship with Macon Hockey in the coming years." said Bill Clark, Clear Channel Market Manager, "Supplying a full schedule of games is a great addition to our program schedule for a brand new radio station."

This new partnership returns hockey in Middle Georgia to the airways on a fixed signal for the first time in many years. It will truly give the great fans of Middle Georgia a way to follow their team at home and especially on the road.

"This is something the fans of Macon have been missing in the past few years." said Adam Minnick, Trax Broadcaster, "I think it will be great to have the Trax on one set station for the entire season. I hope I am able to also make new hockey fans who are regular listeners of 1670 WMWR."

The Trax will hit the ice in late October as they embark on their journey to the first hockey championship in Middle Georgia. Last season the Trax reached the league finals to cap off the most successful hockey season in Macon Hockey history.

Season tickets and corporate packages for the 2004-05 season are on sale now for as low as $99. To be a part of exciting Macon Trax hockey call the office at 478-742-4849.
