The Macon Trax who learned Saturday afternoon they might potentially face the Orlando Seals in the first round of the Atlantic Coast Hockey League playoffs, defeated Orlando 4-3 in a shootout Saturday night at the Centreplex. Tommy Stewart's shootout goal proved to be the game winner, giving him a hat trick and 100 points on the season.
Stewart had two third period goals and Brad Rice had the other goal for the Trax in regulation time. Darcy Johnson, Todd Nowicki and Louis Goulet had the regulation goals for Orlando. The regular season wraps up Sunday when the Trax visit Orlando at 2 p.m. That game can be heard on the internet at www.macontrax.com or www.IRN.FM .
