Tonight\'s Match-up

March 15, 2003 - SPHL (SPHL)
Macon Trax News Release

The Macon Trax conclude the home portion of their regular season tonight as they host the Orlando Seals.

Records: The Trax come into tonight's game with a record of 30 (4)-27 for 56 points and have clinched third place in the ACHL. Because four of the Trax wins are in shootouts, they received only one point in the standings for those games. Orlando is 42 (2)-15 for 82 and have already won the Commissioner's Cup as regular season champions.

Season Series: The Trax have gone just 3-7 against Orlando this season, but three of Orlando's wins have been by one goal, and three other Orlando wins have featured empty net goals. All three Trax wins have been by one goal. So six of these 10 games have been by one goal, and figuring in the three empty net goals, nine of these 10 games have been extremely close.

Recent Action: The Trax tied their franchise record with their fourth straight win, a 6-1 win over Cape Fear last night. Six different players had goals for the Trax in that game. Orlando defeated Jacksonville last night, 4-3.
