North Little Rock, AR-The Arkansas Travelers secured a fifth straight win downing the Frisco RoughRiders, 4-3, on Tuesday in the series opener at Dickey-Stephens Park. Frisco struck for two in the first but Arknasas answered with three in the second and never trailed again. Raúl Alcantara surrendered two runs in the first but then settled in and went five frames, with four strikeouts and no walks, to earn the win. Jared Oliva led the hit parade with two knocks including his first home run.

* Oliva gave the Travs the lead with a two out, two-run single in the second.
* Frisco threatened late in the game including putting the tying runs on base in the eighth inning but Garrett Davila came out of the bullpen to get a groundout ending the inning.
