Travs' Pitching Marvel-Ous in Win Over Hooks

North Little Rock, AR - Emerson Hancock matched his career high with seven innings pitched and Prelander Berroa earned his first career save as the Arkansas Travelers knocked off the Corpus Christi Hooks, 4-3, on Saturday night in front of 6,566 at Dickey-Stephens Park. The Travs connected for only six hits on the night, all singles, while never having more than two runs of separation from the Hooks. Hancock went seven innings for the third time in his career and first this season, striking out eight and walking none. Berroa worked around a pair of singles over the final two innings to close it out.

Moments That Mattered

* Hancock retired 12 in a row from the third to seventh innings with six strikeouts in that time.

* Berroa induced a 6-4-3 double play to end the game.
