Midland, TX-The RockHounds jumped out early and the Arkansas Travelers never led in falling to Midland, 5-1 in the first game of the 2026 season. Hunter Fitz-Gerald led the Travs offense with two hits, a double and a run batted in. Stefan Raeth threw 1.1 perfect innings of relief.

Moments That Mattered

* Arkansas cut their deficit to 2-1 in the top of the fourth and had the bases loaded with one out. Midland went to the bullpen and turned the first of three double plays on the night to retain the lead.

* Brayan Buelvas homered to open the last of the fourth regaining momentum for Midland. They would add two more in the inning and push their lead to four.
