Travs Hold Job Fair March 7th

Dickey-Stephens Park, North Little Rock, AR - The Arkansas Travelers announce their 2009 Job Fair will be held on Saturday, March 7. Job seekers will be able to apply for a number of open part-time and seasonal positions beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting through 2 p.m.

All you need to do is show up and apply for any number of positions such as ticket scanner, usher, concession worker and parking lot attendee. The Travs are also looking for people to staff the in-game and post-game clean up crew and the Travelers Crossing Gift Shop.

Interested workers are encouraged to park in the main lot and enter the park through the first-base gate. Each available position will have its own table set up in the concourse at Dickey-Stephens Park. Applications will be accepted on-site and interviews may be conducted.

Any minors at the ages of 14 or 15 must have a work permit in order to gain employment with the Arkansas Travelers.

Anyone interested in performing the Star-Spangled Banner for a Travs game is also encouraged to show up for a live audition over the Dickey-Stephens Park public address system during the job fair.

Anybody interested in getting a head start on employment with the Travs is welcome to fill out an application during normal business hours Monday through Friday at the main office.
