SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS - Friday night's series opener between the Arkansas Travelers and Northwest Arkansas Naturals has been postponed due to unplayable conditions and persistent rain. The announcement came at 7:50 p.m. from the Naturals front office. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader during the Travs' next visit to Northwest Arkansas on June 11.
The teams will attempt to begin their series, now shortened to three games, on Saturday night at Arvest Ballpark. The Travs will throw lefty Trevor Reckling (1-0, 0.00) while the Naturals will pitch right hander Dan Cortes (0-3, 6.23)
