Travs and Naturals Postponed Wednesday

SPRINGDALE, ARKANSAS - Wednesday night's series opener between the Arkansas Travelers and Northwest Arkansas Naturals has been postponed due to unplayable conditions and persistent rain. The announcement came at 7:35 p.m. from the Naturals front office. With the Travs and Naturals already scheduled for a doubleheader on Thursday to make up a May rainout, the clubs will be forced to play back-to-back doubleheaders with tonight's rainout being made up on Friday at 5:05 p.m.
The Travelers' pitching rotation will be forced to adapt to the weather and will now feature Jordan Walden and lefty Barret Browning on Thursday with the first game beginning at 5:05 p.m. Trevor Reckling and Amalio Diaz are the starting tandem on Friday night while left hander Mike Anton will pitch the only single game of the series on Saturday night.
