Travelers take another from Wichita

Wichita, Kan. -- The Wichita Wranglers lost to the Arkansas Travelers, 10-0, for the third consecutive time falling to 0-3 on the season. The Wranglers will face the Travelers tomorrow in the first afternoon game of the season starting at 2:00 p.m.

In a tough battle, the Wranglers pounded out four hits but could never force a run. Arkansas on the other hand, scored 10 runs on 20 hits and improved their unbeaten record to 3-0. Leftfielder Jason Aspito led the way for the Travelers at the plate going 3-for-5 with 3 RBI. Left-hander Tim Bittner picks up the win, while right-handed pitcher Kyle Middleton falls to 0-1.

Tomorrow's action will feature newly acquired right-hander Junior Herndon for the Wranglers, against Mike Brunet. Tomorrow's match-up will be followed by Wilbur's Easter Egg Hunt at Lawrence Dumont Stadium.
