With the roster now down to 50 players, the next round of releases has to be made by June 12 at 3 p.m.
D.J. Johnson and Ben Cahoon
D.J. Johnson continued to impress his coaches today as he pulled down his fifth interception in two days this morning. Ben Cahoon made a big one-handed catch between three defensive backs who were all vying for a pick.
Calvillo to start against Ottawa
According to Head Coach Don Matthews, quarterback Anthony Calvillo will start Wednesday's pre-season game against the Ottawa Renegades at Molson Stadium. This will be the Als' final pre-season game.
