Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have released nine players, to reduce their roster to the league mandated 50, excluding 2004 Canadian College draft selections.
Released are:
Non-import receiver Craig Spear
Non-import receiver Chris Rankin
Non-import defensive tackle Gonzalo Segovia
Import receiver Damon Hodge
Import receiver Chad Plummer
Import defensive back Jykine Bradley
Import defensive back Errol Hood
Import running back Montrell Lowe
Import linebacker Sheldon Deckert
The Tiger-Cats are on the field for practice Tuesday, June 8 and Wednesday, June 9, both at 9:30 am, before the players get two days off. All CFL teams must be down to the 40 man roster by 3 pm, Saturday, June 12. The roster is made up of 19 Non-imports, 18 Imports and three Quarterbacks.
The Tiger-Cats open the CFL season, Friday, June 18, at BC Place Stadium, against the Lions. The practice schedule leading up to the season opener, will be released later this week.
