Everth Cabrera launched his fifth home run of the season and drove in two runs to lead the Asheville Tourists to a 6-1 victory over the Lexington Legends and the sweep of series in Lexington. Connor Graham surrendered one run in six innings while striking out six and walking four Legends to earn his tenth win of the season for Lexington.

Lexington broke through for its only run of the game in the first inning to jump out to an early lead. Craig Corrado continued his season-long assault on Asheville pitching with a single to lead off the game and moved to second on Eric Taylor's walk. Jonathan Fixler struck out swinging before Steve Brown singled home Corrado for the Legends' only run.

Asheville took the lead in the fifth inning with two runs off Jeff Icenogle. Brian Lapin singled with one out and moved to second on Cabrera's bunt single. Michael Mitchell grounded out to second, moving both runners up a base and Brian Rike followed with a single that scored both men.

The Tourists kept the momentum in their favor with four more runs in the sixth inning. Jeffrey Cunningham walked and moved to third on Helder Velazquez's double. Reid Kelly then relieved Icenogle for Lexington and promptly surrendered a two-run triple to Warren Schaeffer. Brian Lapin struck out swinging, but Cabrera finished the scoring with a two-run home run to right field.

Graham earned the win for Asheville with his six strong innings of work. Jeff Icenogle took the loss for Lexington after surrendering four runs in five and one-third innings while striking out eight Tourists. Icenogle's loss ended a two-game winning streak for the left-handed pitcher.
