Intimidators Winning Streak Ends In 8-3 Loss To Drive

Kannapolis, NC ? The Intimidators? four-game win streak came to a close with an 8-3 loss at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium to the Greenville Drive (21-27).

The Intimidators (23-23) end the eight-game homestand with a 6-2 record. That mark is the best during an eight-gamer at home this season for Kannapolis.

Kannapolis starter Miguel Socolovich (4-6) takes the loss lasting only 4.0 innings giving up six runs (five earned) on five hits.

Offensively, Sergio Morales finished a triple shy of the cycle. Morales went 3-for-4 with a double and home run. Jorge Castillo went 2-for-4 in his Intimidators debut with a double.

The Intimidators start an eight-game roadtrip tomorrow night in Asheville. The first pitch is set for 7:05pm. Coverage starts at intimidatorsbaseball.com with Dan Bumpus at 6:50pm.
