Torrington Titans Make the Most of 6 Hits in 10-5 Victory over Wachusett

Both the Torrington Titans (3-3) and the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (2-5) put runners aboard on Thursday, but it was the Torrington Titans that were able to take advantage, pulling out a 10-5 win at Doyle Field.

Joe Paparelli racked up four RBIs on two hits for the Torrington Titans. He homered in the third inning and doubled in the sixth inning.

Kurtis White got on base four times in the game for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. He doubled in the fifth inning and singled in the third and ninth innings.

Taylor Luciani improved to 1-0 on the year by picking up the win for the Torrington Titans. He allowed three runs over five innings. He struck out five, walked one and surrendered six hits.

AJ Celentano (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two-thirds of an inning, walked five, struck out two, and allowed five runs.
