
Toros Suspended Saturday Due To Rain

Tucson, AZ - The Tucson Toros game against the Tijuana Cimarrones on Saturday, August 21st has been suspended due to heavy rain at Hi Corbett Field. The game was halted with the Toros leading 1-0 with no outs and in the top of the 3rd inning. A future determination will be made as to whether the game will be resumed, made up or nullified. The Toros will embark on roadtrip to Yuma where they will take on the Scorpions for a doubleheader on Sunday starting at 6:00 p.m. before wrapping up the series on Monday. Tucson will finish 2010 season with a nine game homestand on Thirsty Thursday, August 26th at 7:00 p.m. against the Edmonton Capitals.
