Toros Individual Tickets On Sale Saturday

AUSTIN, TX, October 20, 2005 - The Austin Toros will begin the sale of individual game tickets on Saturday, October 22, at 10 a.m. The sale provides fans their first opportunity to purchase a single game ticket for the Toros inaugural 2005-06 season.

A limited number of seats are still available for the 23-game home schedule including the Toros Opening Night game, set to tip off on Saturday, Nov. 26th at 7:30 p.m. The Toros regular season tips off Friday, Nov. 25 against the Arkansas RimRockers in Little Rock.

"Our ticket campaign continues to build momentum and with the continued support of our great fans throughout the market, we are focused on setting a new single season ticket sales mark for the NBA Development League," said team president Mike Berry. "Saturday represents another convenient avenue for our fans to secure Toros tickets and experience professional basketball in a fun atmosphere that provides great sightlines to all ticket holders."

Starting Saturday Toros tickets will be available at the nine Pinky's Wireless locations in the Austin and Round Rock areas, as well as Waterloo Records, 600 A. North Lamar. Tickets can also be purchased by calling 866-443-8849 or online at austintoros.com, NBA.com or gettix.net.

Along with exciting hoop action on the court, the Toros have put together an attractive promotional schedule. Basketball fans on hand for the Nov. 26th home opener will be a part of Austin sports history when the Toros take the court against the Fayetteville Patriots. All fans attending the home opener will receive a 2005-06 magnetic schedule courtesy of Kenty, Yung, Ozias & Associates. On Opening Night Toros fans will also enjoy exciting youth-oriented interactive games, live music and various surprises throughout the evening.

Families looking for a great night out can enjoy exciting promotions and giveaways geared to family entertainment including the Holiday Toy Drive (Dec. 11), Family Night (Dec. 28), Kid's New Year's Eve Party (Dec. 30), Youth Basketball (Jan. 27) and Cheerleading Night (March 8). The schedule also offers community nights for Austin and Round Rock residents and a special night (Jan. 28) for employees of the City of Austin.

Individual ticket prices start at $11. Season, group, and premium seating tickets are still available by calling the Toros ticket office (512) 236-8333 and start as low as $184 for the entire 23-game home schedule. Please note Toros individual game tickets will only be sold at the Austin Convention Center on game days/nights subject to availability.
