Toros Host 2007 Draft Party

AUSTIN, TX October 30, 2007 - The Austin Toros will host their 2007 NBA D-League Draft Party at Champions Sports Bar on November 1st starting at 6:30p.m. Champions is located at 4th and Trinity and is the official Sports Bar of the Toros. Fans should arrive early for happy hour specials, games, and give-a-ways. Fans will also meet the 2007-08 Capital City Dance team, Da Bull, and the Toros coaches.

The Toros will pick twelfth in the first round this year. The draft is "snaked" meaning the selection order will reverse in each of the ten rounds of the process. NBA TV will air the draft live and the night begins with pre-draft analysis at 8p.m. EST.

"As the head coach and a rookie to draft night, I am excited to see the evolution of the creation of our team for 2007-08," said Quin Snyder. "It is going to be a really fun night. Any time you build something it is exciting."
