
Toronto Trades International RB/RET Martese Jackson to the Edmonton Eskimos

TORONTO - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club announced today they have traded International RB/RET Martese Jackson and a conditional sixth-round draft selection in 2020 to Edmonton in exchange for a 2019 third-round draft selection.
Jackson, 26, has appeared in all 11 games this season for the Double Blue, his second year with the club. The former Florida Atlantic Owl has been used primarily in the return game this season, returning 38 punts for 464 yards (12.2 avg.) and 37 kickoffs for 747 yards (20.2 avg.).
The team is on their third and final bye this week before returning to action on Saturday, September 22 at BMO Field for a 7 p.m. kickoff vs. the Saskatchewan Roughriders.
