- Richard Clune scored his first goal of the post season, the game winning goal, with 2:30 remaining in the third period.
- Connor Carrick scored his sixth goal of the post season, and playoff leading 14th point, 12:59 into the third period.
- Kasperi Kapanen scored his third goal of the playoffs while adding an assist, pushing his point total to seven this post season.
- Connor Brown opened the scoring for the Marlies, recording his sixth goal of the post season and second while shorthanded, 2:56 into the first period.
- Stuart Percy picked up an assist in his second consecutive game, assisting on the Clune goal.
- Nikita Soshnikov recorded the primary assist on the game winning tally, his first assist and fifth point of the post season.
- Antoine Bibeau turned aside 25 shots to earn his fifth win of the post season.
NOTABLES
- Toronto now heads to the Conference Finals for the fourth time in franchise history. The Marlies will face the Hershey Bears, AHL affiliate of the Washington Capitals.
- Toronto was 2/2 on the penalty kill and 0/1 on the power play. This is the fourth consecutive game the Marlies have not allowed a goal while shorthanded.
