Reign Battle Lake Erie Monsters in Western Conference Finals

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), take on the Lake Erie Monsters in the 2016 AHL Western Conference Finals.

The Western Conference Finals will feature a 2-3-2 format with Game 1 and Game 2 taking place at Citizens Business Bank Arena. Game 1 is Saturday, May 21 at 8:00 p.m. PT and Game 2 is Sunday, May 22 at 7:00 p.m. PT. The Reign advanced to the Western Conference Finals after taking down San Jose, 3-1, in the best-of-five Pacific Division Semifinals and San Diego, 4-1, in the Pacific Division Finals. Lake Erie advanced by sweeping the Rockford IceHogs, 3-0, in the opening round and defeating the Grand Rapids Griffins, 3-2, in the Central Division Finals.

In the regular season, the Reign led the Western Conference with a .684 winning percentage and finished with an overall record of 44-19-4-1. The Monsters placed third in the Conference and second in the Central Division with a winning percentage of .638 and an overall record of 43-22-6-5.
