
Toronto Marlies Announce Playoff Schedule

Toronto Marlies News Release
The Toronto Marlies will face the Grand Rapids Griffins in the first round of the Calder Cup playoffs in a battle between the second and seventh seeds in the Western Conference. The Griffins finished second in the Western Conference with 100 points and a 46-22-6-2 record. The Toronto Marlies have secured the seventh seed with 87 points and a 39-28-9-0 record. The format will be a 2-3, best of five, with Toronto opening the series at home on Saturday April 25th and Sunday April 26th. The rest of the schedule is as follows;

2-Grand Rapids Griffins vs. 7-Toronto Marlies
Game 1 - Sat., Apr. 25 - Grand Rapids at Toronto, 3:00
Game 2 - Sun., Apr. 26 - Grand Rapids at Toronto, 3:00
Game 3 - Wed., Apr. 29 - Toronto at Grand Rapids, 7:00
*Game 4 - Sat., May 2 - Toronto at Grand Rapids, 7:00
*Game 5 - Sun., May 3 - Toronto at Grand Rapids, 5:00
Both teams enter the playoffs playing strong hockey, Toronto closing out the season with an 8-2-0-0 record while Grand Rapids closed the season with a 7-3-0-0 record.
