Last Week: Toronto FC midfielder Michael Bradley and striker Jozy Altidore returned from the United States men's national team on Wednesday after a pair of FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifying matches. In addition, midfielder Armando Cooper returned to the Reds from the Panamanian national team who also played a pair of FIFA 2018 World Cup qualifiers.

During the long grind of the MLS season, players are rarely given consecutive days off, much less an entire weekend. Toronto FC Technical Director Open House

WHEN: Friday, December 2, 6:00pm-8:00pm WHO: Invitation is open to all Technical Directors of soccer clubs in Ontario WHERE: Kia Training Ground (85 Carl Hall Rd. Toronto, ON) WHAT: The event will include an open bar, snacks, a tour of the facility and keynote speaker, Tim Bezbatchenko. Bezbatchenko will be speaking to the club philosophy and structure, our role in the Ontario Soccer community and introducing our new scholarship program.

Look Ahead: Toronto FC travel to Olympic Stadium on Tuesday, November 22 to take on the Montreal Impact in the first leg of the Audi 2016 MLS Cup Playoffs Eastern Conference Championship. During the 2016 season, the Reds and Impact met a total of five times.

Three times during MLS league play and twice during the Amway Canadian Championship. In MLS play, TFC finished with a 1-1-1 record. Over the two legs of the Amway Canadian Championship semifinal, Toronto FC defeated the Montreal Impact 4-2 on aggregate to capture the fifth Voyageurs Cup in club history.
